By appointment with a Practice Nurse at Padgate. We provide a basic range of vaccinations for overseas travel.

Please allow at least six weeks prior to your departure to complete any vaccinations.

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  – at least 6 weeks before you travel, a second appointment maybe required with the practice nurse.

We stock basic travel vaccine for adults. Please note we do not stock Hepatitis A vaccine for children. A prescription can be issued during the initial appointment with the practice nurse  but you maybe required to bring your child  to a second appointment.

At times travels vaccine appointments are limited due to other service demands and will be offered at the practices discretion.

Some Malaria tablets are available to buy over the counter, ask the nurse at your appointment who will advise.  If a prescription is required these are not available via an nhs prescription therefore a private prescription  will be issued at the time of the appointment.

Not all travel vaccinations are  provided by the NHS but are available at private travel clinics in the Northwest.  Details of these clinics are readily available via the internet.
