Ordering your prescriptions

We ask that patients request their repeat prescription 7 days before they are due to run out, this gives us time to process the prescription and send it to the pharmacy to allow time for them to process this.

Once prescriptions have been processed and signed by a Clinician, they will be sent electronically to your nominated chemist awaiting for you to collect. If you do not have a nominated chemist, you can attend any chemist and ask for them to dispense your medication.

Medication Reviews:

After having a number of repeats you may need to be seen by the doctor before you can have your prescription re-authorised. If you are unsure when your medication will need re-authorising please speak to a member of the team. If you are unsure of your medication please arrange a medication review with the doctor.

All patients on Warfarin will have to produce their yellow book before we can give them a prescription. This is a government safety directive to ensure that you are being monitored and receiving the appropriate medication. If you cannot produce your yellow book, the date of your last review should be obtained from your anti-coagulation clinic.
